Bentley's first battery-electric car and its fourth model line, designed, engineered and built at Crewe. A 113 kWh battery of 192 lithium-ion pouch cells runs at 800 volts for up to 375 miles WLTP, takes 10 to 80 per cent in around 16 minutes on a 400 kW charger, adds roughly 100 miles in seven minutes, and is warranted for ten years or 100,000 miles. The core Torcal carries 821 PS and 1,194 Nm and reaches 60 mph in 3.3 seconds. The Torcal S carries 888 PS and 1,350 Nm, reaches 60 mph in 2.8 seconds and runs to 162 mph, which makes it the most powerful road car Bentley has built. Underneath it is a Bentley first: a fully active suspension whose two-valve adaptive dampers do away with anti-roll bars altogether, with all-wheel steering standard and a brake choice running to 440 mm carbon silicon carbide discs. The cabin introduces the first 100 per cent Merino wool fabric made durable enough for a car, woven with Fox Brothers of Somerset, alongside Ombre Walnut and Sunburst Aluminium by Mulliner, fifteen shades of olive tan leather with fifteen matching shades of Dinamica, curved OLED screens, an augmented reality head-up display, four powered doors, the Frosted Diamond switchable sunroof and an optional 1,780 W, 28-speaker Naim for Bentley system. Five metres long, with a 460-litre boot and 90 litres under the bonnet, offered here in right-hand drive.
